Salam, Kia ora, Hello! Dear all WMSO members, Have you ever noticed how FAST the time flies? Hey look, it is already one year since the last Annual General Meeting (AGM). And during this time, WMSO would usually hold a new AGM for the next high committee that would be organising the future WMSO events, and specifically for this time round, it would be for WMSO High Committee for 2010/2011. Tomorrow will be WMSO's first ever event for 2010, and we're pretty sure you don't want to miss being a part of it! :D This event is important because it creates a(n informal) platform to get members to meet or sort out their club registration for those who haven't completed theirs. One of our major aims, however, is to encourage members to build up their leadership & management skills as well as their resume for personal/professional development. The details are thus: Date: March 6th 2010 (Saturday) Time: 10am-12pm Venue: Meeting Rooms 1 & 2, Student Union Building, Kelburn campus. In case you were wondering, morning tea will be served (and you can never go wrong with free food, especially by WMSO ;) ). So all you need to do is bring along your friends, get to know new/old Malaysian students here in Wellington, catch up with the ones you rarely see, and just enjoy yourself. It's going to be a good time to mingle around...

Salam, Kia ora, Hello! We have good news and bad news. The bad news is, the iftaar and AGM that was held last weekend was the final event handled by the 2008/2009 High Committee of WMSO. The good news it, the event brought forth a new team on board for the 2009/2010 session ! Salam, Kia ora, Hello! Hope everyone is well and enjoying the fasting month of Ramadhan! :) We'd like to inform everyone that WMSO is going to have an Iftaar and the preceeding prayers this weekend . The details are as follows: Date: 12 September 2009 Day: Saturday Venue: Everton Hall Time: 5.30-9.30 p.m. Other than the iftaar and prayers, WMSO will also be having our Annual General Meeting during this event. This is held to select the next top committee of WMSO (2009/2010 session). The program tentative for the event is: 5.30pm - Arrival 6.00pm - Break fast (light food) 6.15pm - Maghrib prayers 6.30pm - Iftaar 7.15pm - AGM 8.00pm - Isya' & Terawih prayers. Note : We're having this iftaar potluck style , but some food and drinks will be provided by us. Please remember to bring your own prayer mats for your comfort. :) Hope to see you all there!
