But it's not much fun if we're watching only the performers do their stuff on stage, let's be under the spotlight too! Therefore, this year's Talent Night comes with the special need to wear COSTUMES! Yup. Not just getting dressed, not just fancy outfits with heels or matching accessories etc. You gotta come in a costume. The New Zealand Malaysian Society are having an event soon-ish and they've invited us to the gathering! There will be food, potluck-style, and badminton will also be played then. Plus, we miss everyone and we feel like everyone deserves a pat on the back for almost completing a/another uni trimester. We figured that the best way to resolve these issues of ours is to have a casual meetup, especially in these wintry days in Welly. So, wanna help your comrades out the fun way? Salam, Kia ora, Hello! last year's training Electronic WMSO mails have already been sent out to all its members to notify / remind / announce the soon-ish arrival of this year's Bersatu Games. This time around, Palmerston North 's the host of this augural event, and it's going to be held between 5-10th July . Venue's set, dates are set, so now all we need to get our ball rollin are athletes! Salam, Kia ora, Hello! We had 7 teams competing at the Rec Centre at Massey Uni today for our 2009 Mixed Futsal event. Suffice to say... It. Was. a Blast. Although the event started a bit later than the tentative 10am, the turn up was good and the weather outside was very pleasant. Looks like the heavens are still with us since our first sports event of the year ( Mixed Netball ). Alhamdulillah. Without further ado, let's get on to the juicier stuff.
