WELLINGTON MALAYSIAN STUDENTS' ORGANISATION

The kick-off has started for Rugby World Cup 2011 here in New Zealand and in conjunction with the much anticipated event, our very own Bahtera Budaya has been invited to promote Malaysian culture through our dance! They most probably are intrigued and attracted to our past performances here in New Zealand. To name a few, Asian Night Market 2011 , and Asian Night Market 2010  . Thanks to the zeal and enthusiasm that our representatives had shown throughout these years, we are now (In NZ) very well-known for out multiculturalism There are some more events that involved Bahtera Budaya group but unfortunately I have no access to those photo albums nor was I even at those events due to personal bereavement. Hence, not mentioning them in this blog post. Written by: The RagePanda As we are approaching the end of semester 1, I reckon many of us are being enthralled into finishing our last assignments, tests and..whatever. For people who bring their personal netbooks to Uni and staying long hours at the library to finish and apparently submit their assignments, internet disconnection can be seriously detrimental to our mental health system. Some have reported that Vic Uni's library has not provided good enough Wi-Fi service to its student but pushing my bigotry of going against the system for a while and going around the floor to make some observations, I found out that the reason I could not connect to victoria wi-fi or getting disconnected might have actually came from my computer's problem. I used a Windows XP Pro on a Dell Netbook; while a friend who's also facing the same problem, using a Asus with Win 7 laptop

One thing everyone has in common these days, if not being rendered catatonic with the thought of facing final examinations this coming June, is being choked to death by assignments. Being busy at this hectic time means that we eat less quality food; and by that, I mean, really quality food -  not Maggi, not Ruski, and most certainly, not pizzas (although if you want to buy me one, I wouldn't mind) Having limited or no time at all, we are also limited to our beloved Malaysian cooking and because of that, WMSO is proudly presenting you with our 2011 Malaysian Night Stall!
